The show covers Whistler as painter and printmaker, and follows his belief that art, like music, should above all evoke a mood. It was put together with Tate Britain in London, where an earlier showing ran from 21 May to 27 September 2026. A companion presentation looks at Whistler's links with the Netherlands.
